Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her lead roles in many television series as well as her outstanding performances in films. Her work is well-known on both Canadian and American Television. At the age of Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her older sister Katie on the set of one of her film. She began taking classes in acting, and then auditioning after realizing that she loved acting. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You terrified to be in the Dark? The only scene that she could get was one that was silent. At the age of 15years old, Emily had her big breakthrough when she was made an official character on the WB Television series Glory Days. Emily's acting talent was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the show was cancelled after nine short episodes. He cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Also a ballet dancer and photographer, Emily was once listed by Teen to be one of their best actors under 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as top 51.
